Foreurs add a Coach

VAL-D’OR, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 – The Val-d’Or Foreurs today announced the hiring of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Hall of Famer Patrice Lefebvre. The top point-getter in Canadian Hockey League history will be an assistant coach on Marc-André Dumont’s staff.

The Montreal native was inducted into the QMJHL Hall of Fame in 1997 after registering 206 goals and 459 assists in 312 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes from 1984 to 1988,

After a 20-year professional hockey career, Lefebvre officially begins his coaching career. Last season, he played for the Valpellice Bulldogs in the Italian Elite League.
