Frantz Jean to join Canada's U-18 Staff

(Moncton N.-B.) – Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach, Frantz Jean, has been named Goaltending Consultant of Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under 18 team which will compete at the 2009 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from August 11th to the 15th.

Frantz Jean will also take part in the teams training camp which will take place in Calgary from August 1st to the 4th.

“It is a great honor to be part of this team and represent Canada on the international stage. The fact that expectations are always high for
Canada’s Program of excellence pushes the players, the coaching staff and the support staff to be the best they can be. To me, that is an exciting perspective,” explained Jean.

In September, Frantz Jean will start his 12th season as the Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach. Jean is also owner of Pro Tek Hockey, a goaltending school that operates in Québec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.
