Trade in the WHL

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – Bruno Campese, General Manager and Head Coach of The Prince Albert Raiders, announced today that the club has acquired Justin Maylan (Pictured) and a 6th round selection in the 2010 Bantam Draft from the Prince George Cougars, in exchange for James Dobrowolski and a 4th round selection in the 2010 Bantam Draft.

Maylan, 18, appeared in 70 games last season with the Cougars collecting 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists) and also registered one point in four playoff appearances. The Calgary, Alberta native stands 6’1, 170lbs plays Centre and shoots right. Maylan finished fifth (tie) in goals for the Cougars this past season. Dobrowolski appeared in 72 games for the Raiders last season, registering 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points.

“We would like to wish James well in Prince George, and are looking forward to having Justin be a part of the Raiders Organization”, said Raiders Head Coach and General Manager Bruno Campese.
