SUMMER SHOWCASE RETURNS TO MARLBORO

The EJHL is pleased to announce that FASTHockey will broadcast all games for the renowned 2010 Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) Summer Showcase LIVE online at: www.fasthockey.com. The event takes place in Marlborough, Massachusetts from July 23rd to 25th at the New England Sports Center.

This tournament comes on the heels of major success for the EJHL during the 2009-2010 season where the league helped kids achieve outstanding college opportunities. Producing over 70 D1 commitments and more than 75 D3 commitments, the EJHL continues to be a leader in developing high quality athletes that excel at the collegiate level.

This years Summer Showcase is expected to be frequented by some of the more than 200 DI, DIII, and professional scouts that have attended the last 3 EJHL Showcase events, boasts 28 teams in the Junior A Division and 20 teams in the Junior B Division. All 14 EJHL teams will be present and all of their affiliated Empire league teams will participate as well.

Additionally, five teams from Canada consisting of players from the Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick provinces as well as a select group of European players (playing for the East Coast Selects) and a handful of teams from the Atlantic Junior Hockey League (AJHL) will compete. Rounding out the competition will be some very successful tournament teams like the Beantown Bullies and Hub City Hockey.

The EJHL Summer Showcase, now in its fourth year, has consistently provided great competition offering scouts an opportunity to get an early look at next years talent. The tournament continues to grow with the organizers adding select teams to ensure the quality of the event while offering a wider playing field for those in attendance to watch.

FASTHockey will broadcast all of the games live during the Summer Showcase for fans around the world. Archives will be made available immediately after game time for on-demand viewing. Additionally, high quality DVD's will be available for purchase as will web quality USB Flash Drives for those who want an off-line copy of the games.
