The Niagara IceDogs are
greatly saddened by the passing of Jim Leighton, a long time IceDog fan
and season ticket holder, who passed away this past Thursday, June 13th
after a valiant battle with cancer.
Jim was a tremendous IceDogs fan, having had season tickets since the team moved to Niagara back in 2007. Jim was also often seen on IceDogs fan bus trips and was always well liked by his fellow IceDogs fans as well as IceDogs staff.
Jim's presence at the rink and on road trips will be sorely missed and the entire IceDogs organization would like to offer their deepest condolences to the entire Leighton family in this difficult time.
