Halifax makes two trades

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 – The Halifax Mooseheads made a couple of trades today with the beginning of the QMJHL pre-season only a few days away.

The Mooseheads acquired Anthony Kimlin (90-01-20), Spencer Metcalfe (90-10-26) and Jordan Costello (91-03-20) from the Gatineau Olympiques for an eighth round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft.

Moreover, the Mooseheads sent Mathew Burns (92-02-14) to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for a twelfth round pick in 2010.

In another move, the Shawinigan Cataractes flipped Sasha Guimond (91-03-28) to the Quebec Remparts for a sixth round pick in 2011.
