Moncton training camp news

Moncton, NB - The Moncton Wildcats calendar of events is getting crowded as the 2009-2010 QMJHL season gets closer. Along with kites from 13 different countries, the Wildcats will be visible at the Dieppe Kite International Festival which gets underway tomorrow and runs for five days.

Players begin arriving over the weekend for the start of training camp next Tuesday, August 18th. Fans are invited to attend the two hour Wildcats rookie scrimmages which start at the 4-Plex next Wednesday morning at 9. An evening scrimmage is set for 6:30 pm. A similar schedule will run on Thursday and Saturday. A break for the scrimmage action happens on Friday night when the Wildcats play their first of six exhibition games against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at 7 at the 4-Plex. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior, children six and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Door will open at 6 o’clock.

Fans are reminded of the new Wildcats season ticket plan payment options, starting as low as $35.99 per month with a $50/00 deposit. The 2009-2010 season home opener is set for September 18th against the PEI Rocket.
