The Windsor Spitfires today announced that they have renewed their affiliation with the LaSalle Vipers OHA Junior B Hockey Club for the 2009-2010 season. The Spitfires and Vipers will work closely in the development of hockey talent during the upcoming campaign.
“The Windsor Spitfires are very fortunate to partner up with the Vipers for another season. I believe this is a good working relationship for both organizations and will allow us to make our respective teams stronger this season,” said Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel.
“We’re glad to renew our relationship with the best junior hockey club in North America. Through our association with the Spitfires, we have the unique opportunity to follow in Windsor’s footsteps by sharing with the Spits in the development of players as we continue to build a championship caliber team in LaSalle,” commented LaSalle Vipers General Manager Kevin McIntosh.
The LaSalle Vipers will open their training camp on Sunday, August 16th at the Vollmer Recreation Complex in LaSalle. For more information on Vipers hockey, please visit their website at www.lasallevipers.com
