NAPHL is launched

Press Release

North American Prospect Hockey League (NAPHL) Director Denny Scanlon announced today that the inaugural League has unveiled its website, www.naphl.net. The new website will serve as the official home page for the League, which consists of 20 programs at the Midget Major level, and 16 programs at the Midget Minor level. These teams will compete in all five NAHL Future Prospect Tournaments, which will culminate with an NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament at the North American Hockey League’s 2010 Robertson Cup in late April.

“The launch of NAPHL.net is the next step as we roll towards the NAPHL’s first year of existence,” said Scanlon. “We are excited about this upcoming season, and the new website will give fans all the information they need to track our 36 teams, and their talented players.”

NAPHL.net will provide the schedule for all five League events including: September 17-20, 2009 (Blaine, Minnesota); October 9-12, 2009 (St. Louis, Missouri); December 3-6, 2009 (Rochester, New York); January 15-18, 2010 (Ann Arbor, Michigan); and February 12-15, 2010 (San Jose, California).

The site will also be a go-to source for such features as hotel and rental car information at the events, news articles, League-related stories and up-to-date scores provided by Pointstreak.
