Kodiaks Announce Charity Fundraiser

Press Release

The Camrose Kodiaks are proud to announce a major charity fundraiser taking place on Friday, February 19th vs. the Olds Grizzlys. The Kodiaks will be wearing custom camouflage jerseys in honour of the Canadian Armed Forces and all of the people who serve and protect our great Nation.

The jerseys, along with other unique memorabilia, will be auctioned off during the game via a silent auction. Immediately after the game the winning bidders will be presented with the jersey from the player and have it autographed. 100% of the proceeds raised will go to charity; 50% will go to the Haitian Earthquake relief fund; the other 50% will go to charities in Camrose.

The Camrose Kodiaks have invited the following representatives to attend the game as honoured guests: Veterans, CFB Edmonton Garrison, CFB Wainwright, Camrose City Police, RCMP, Fire Department and Medical Response.

Come out for the final regular season home game on Friday, February 19th at 7:30pm to raise some much needed money for charity and pay tribute to our honored guests!
