FOSTER JOINS THE DUKES

The OJHL and Dudley Hewitt Cup champion Wellington Dukes announced that Jeff Foster has joined their Hockey Operations staff in the capacity of Assistant Coach effective immediately.

The Napanee, Ontario native played five years of professional hockey that included 276 games. He was recently a member of the Kingston Voyageurs and Kingston Frontenacs coaching staffs. Jeff joins a championship squad that also includes assistant coach Todd Reid.

"Jeff is a great addition to our staff. His approach compliments both Todd and I in terms of a team first mentality. His bench demeanor and video work makes Jeff a valuable member of the Dukes organization as does his desire to both win and develop our players." stated Dukes GM/Head Coach Marty Abrams.

"After having many discussions with Marty, I decided that it would be with great pleasure to accept his offer as Assistant Coach. I look forward to working with Marty and Reider and the Wellington Dukes organization in the upcoming 2011-12 season." commented Foster.
