Rangers Partner With KMHA Minor Midget Jr Rangers

Press Release

Kitchener Minor Hockey is pleased to announce a new partnership between the OHL Kitchener Rangers and the Minor Midget AAA Jr Rangers. This partnership will see a new level of support and commitment provided to the participants on this team.

The Kitchener Minor Hockey Association and its Minor Midget Jr. Rangers Program are pleased to announce a partnership with the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers for the 2011/12 season. This partnership was generated at the request of the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association to assist its programs in preparing our elite athletes and help them realize greater opportunities to play competitively beyond the minor hockey ranks.

This partnership will solidify a great hockey program and add needed support to creating awareness about the great players Kitchener has to offer.

KMHA president Tom Graham is noted as saying “KMHA and its members will be impressed and pleased with the help from the Rangers. This is the type of support that only a great club like the Rangers can provide to its community.”

The new partnership will include opportunities for support and guidance regarding attracting scouts, KMHA player participation in Rangers team practices, and most importantly of all coach mentorship. General Manager Rolland Cyr says “This help will guide our coaches to shape great hockey players that have a chance to move on but more importantly help shape great young men by giving them every opportunity.”

The support from the Rangers will be directed at the Minor Midget Program for the 2011/12 season.
