"The OJHL has a longstanding and proud history of player development in the Province of Ontario and we are committed to providing a top-notch platform to showcase that talent in ways that better protect and promote the amateur status and long-term viability and visibility of the League within a structure of strong governance principles", said Marc Mercier, Co-Chair of the Board of Directors.

"It is an honour and we are excited to work on behalf of the OJHL. We look forward to exploring thoughtfully and strategically all effective ways and means to be one of the leaders in Canadian Junior A hockey within a unified league structure", said Ted Magee, the other Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. "Our league has a history of great fan support and community involvement that has allowed our member teams to advance both players and staff further in their careers.
