The Saginaw Spirit have completed a trade with the Barrie Colts, acquiring a third round pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Section. In exchange, the Colts receive center Ray Huether, who was the Spirit’s fifth round selection in 2010. This past season, Huether recorded 1 assist in 7 games played with Saginaw, spending most of his year with Stratford in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
