Jeremy Olinyk of the Winnipeg Blues has been named the MJHL Player of the Week, ending October 23.
The 19-year-old forward was red hot, scoring five goals over a two-game span. In total, he registered seven points for the Blues, who posted two wins last week. He was also named the RBC Player of the Month for September.
The Blues currently sit tied for first in the Addison Division with 12 wins after 16 games.
The runners up for the MJHL Player of the Week were 18 year old forward Brent Wold of the Portage Terriers and 20 year old forward Mike Collins of the OCN Blizzard.
