Clydesdales to honour the memory of Rachel Sandell

Press Release

DULUTH, Minn. – On Sunday, Nov. 13 during the Duluth Clydesdales home game against the Dryden Ice Dogs, the club will be honouring the memory of Duluth native Rachel Sandell, who lost her valiant battle with cancer on Oct. 16 at the age of 18.

The Clydesdales will be holding a special memorial night where $3.00 from each ticket sold, along with team chuck-a-puck proceeds, will be donated in Rachel's name to Coaches vs. Cancer.

Several other contribution options will also be available during the game.

With several current and former Duluth East High School classmates on the squad, each Clydesdales player will affix an R.S. decal to their helmet in her memory for the remainder of the season.

Please join us in remembering Rachel and supporting this worthy cause, Sunday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center.
