PHL grad Boucher-Gould goes from NAHL to USHL

Press Release

Jordan Boucher-Gold, a former forward from the New Mexico Mustangs in the NAHL, has been added to the roster of the Sioux City Musketeers.

The Quebec native, who came in a trade for defenseman Kiril Vorobyev, notched three goals and eight points in 11 games for the North American League's Mustangs.

"He's a small, skilled forward but also has a lot of grit and tenacity," said Musketeers head coach/general manager Brett Larson. "He's a young kid that's probably going to come in and add a little bit of offensive creativity to our lineup. He's young, so he probably has a little ways to go, but we see him as a kid that for the future could have a big impact on this team."

Boucher-Gould was one of the highest scoring Midget players in the country last year. In the 2010-11 season, he recorded 53 goals and 131 points in 58 games for the Omaha AAA 16-Under team of the NAPHL.
