The disciplinary prefect of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Raymond Bolduc, today suspended Shawinigan Cataractes left-winger, Vincent Arseneau, until further notice following an illegal hit to the head which occurred during Friday's game versus the Victoriaville Tigres.
Arseneau will not be allowed to participate in any Cataractes games until the disciplinary process is completed.
"I will gather the testimony from the player in question, read the officials’ report, speak with the organizations involved and consult the independent committee in the matter of disciplinary sanctions before announcing my decision in the next couple of day," said the disciplinary prefect.
