The
Cowichan Capitals have traded the playing rights of Hayden-James Berra
to the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL in exchange for the playing
rights of 1993 born Mason Malkowich. Malkowich played 56 games last
season and ended with 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points and 115 PIM.
“Mason is a skilled forward with an extremely high compete level” said
Coach Bob Beatty. “We expect him to add to our offensive punch and add
some spark to our line up. He is a smaller guy, but with a big heart.”
Malkowich stands 5’6” and weighs in at 160 lbs.
Of Berra Coach
Beatty said, “He is an outstanding young man with great potential. We
wish him nothing but success as he moves forward.”
