Storm sign Craievich to OHL Contract

Press Release

The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that Adam Craievich, the team's 3rd round pick in 2013, has signed an Ontario Hockey League contract with the team.

The Sarnia native had 44 goals and 43 assists for 87 points in 68 games playing Minor Midget with the Oakville Rangers last season. At 6.00 and 189 pounds, Craievich was part of the winning Rangers team that won the OHL Cup Championship this past March. Named MVP of the tournament, Craievich scored five goals and picked up two assists for seven points in seven games, including two goals in the tournament final.

The 16 year old most recently took part in the OHL Gold Cup in Kitchener at the beginning of May. The talented right winger led his team in scoring with six points (two goals and four assists) in five games.

Craievich met with Storm management and staff at the annual rookie day in April and will join the rest of the Storm when training camp opens at the Sleeman Centre in August.
