Wolves Add New Area Scout

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce the hiring of new area scout MIKE MACPHERSON from Guelph, Ontario. MACPHERSON has been hired to replace former area scout DAVID BURSTYN.
MACPHERSON is a native of Nova Scotia and has worked in the scouting industry for the past 13 years.    MACPHERSON is a former director of scouting for teams in the East Coast Hockey League and has served as an area scout for the last three seasons with the Peterborough Petes. MACPHERSON has served as a Head Coach, Evaluator and Convenor for the Guelph Minor Hockey Association for the past twelve years.

“We are very pleased to add Mike MacPherson to the scouting staff of the Sudbury Wolves” notes Wolves’ head scout ANDREW SHAW. “I have known Mike personally for a number of years and he is a hardworking scout and an excellent evaluator. Mike will prove very beneficial to our team as we prepare for next year’s OHL Minor Midget draft.” Among MacPherson’s duties will be providing scouting reports on players in the SCTA and ALLIANCE minor midget ‘AAA’ leagues.

MacPherson will join the Sudbury Wolves scouting staff consisting of:
