Kitchener Rangers General Manager
Murray Hiebert announced Thursday that the team has completed a trade
with the North Bay Battalion.
In the deal, the Rangers receive
forward Brandon Robinson from North Bay, in exchange for overage forward
Ben Thomson and a 4th round pick in the 2017 Ontario Hockey League
Priority Selection.
Brampton’s first round pick (seventh
overall) in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection, Robinson recorded 34 points
in 62 regular season games in 2012-13. In total, the Pickering, ON
native has 36 goals and 26 assists in 134 games with the Battalion.
