Storm unveil charity jerseys

Press Release

The Guelph Storm Hockey Club is excited to officially unveil our jerseys to be worn on Sunday, November 24th, when the Storm host the visiting Kitchener Rangers in a 2 pm start.

Hours after the final buzzer at the Sleeman Centre, the 101st Grey Cup will get underway in Regina pitting the Saskatchewan Roughriders against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.  During their 2013 Eastern Conference Championship season, the Tiger-Cats and the Storm shared the hearts of many Guelph sports fans while they played their home games in the Royal City and the hockey club is honoured to commemorate this special season by wearing Ti-Cats inspired jerseys.

Starting next week, the Storm's special event Tiger-Cats styled jerseys will be auctioned on eBay with 100% of proceeds donated to the Guelph Giants Special Needs Hockey Club - a foundation dedicated to encouraging, empowering and enabling athletes with an intellectual disability to participate in an inclusive hockey program.
