BCHL reveals first-team, second-team and all-rookie all-star teams

The British Columbia Hockey League is pleased to announce its all-stars for the 2013-14 season. The winners were chosen from a survey of BCHL coaches and broadcasters.

The BCHL all-star game was done away with after the 2009-10 campaign; the league is recognizing its all-stars this season with all-BCHL first team, second team and all-rookie squads.

This year, all three divisions are represented by all-stars with players coming from 11 of the league’s 16 teams.

BCHL First-Team All-Stars

F – Landon Smith, Salmon Arm SilverBacks    
F – Brad McClure, Penticton Vees  
F – Myles Fitzgerald, Victoria Grizzlies
D – Brett Beauvais, Penticton Vees
D – Marc Biega, Coquitlam Express
G – Jayson Argue, Nanaimo Clippers

BCHL Second-Team All-Stars

F – Gerry Fitzgerald, Victoria Grizzlies              
F – David Pope, West Kelowna Warriors
F – Adam Rockwood, Coquitlam Express
D – Christian Weidauer, Prince George Spruce Kings
D – Carter Cochrane, Chilliwack Chiefs
G – Hunter Miska, Penticton Vees

BCHL All-Rookie Team
F – Danton Heinen, Surrey Eagles                      
F – Jarid Lukosevicius, Powell River Kings
F – Liam Blackburn, West Kelowna Warriors
