SIJHL announces pair of schedule changes

Press Release

THUNDER BAY, Ont. -- The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced a pair of game schedule changes.

First, the contest originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30 that was to have seen the Duluth Clydesdales hosting the Iron Range Ironheads, has been postponed to a later date.

A make-up date for that contest will be announced, once it has been confirmed.

The second schedule adjustment sees the Oct. 4 match-up between Iron Range and Fort Frances being pushed forward.

That game will now be played on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Ice for Kids Arena with the action set to get underway at the original time of 7:30 p.m.

The SIJHL apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.

League play continues Saturday, on two fronts, as the Thunder Bay North Stars host the defending SIJHL champion Wisconsin Wilderness in their home opener at the Fort William Gardens while Duluth entertains the Dryden Ice Dogs at Heritage Sports Center.
