Niagara IceDogs Head Coach and
General Manager Marty Williamson has announced that the IceDogs have
traded overage defenceman Brock Beukeboom to the Guelph Storm in
exchange for Oshawa's 4th round pick in 2013, London's 2nd round pick in
2014 and Brampton's 6th round pick in 2014.
Beukeboom played in 63 games for the IceDogs after being acquired from Sault Ste. Marie prior to the 2011-12 season. Beukeboom had played in all 16 games for the IceDogs so far this season, picking up eight assists in those games.
The entire IceDogs organization would like to thank Brock for his efforts during his time here and we wish him all the best in the future!
