Smokies blueliner Bardock gets POW nod after clutch home weekend

Trail Smoke Eaters defenceman Cody Bardock has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 17, the league announced Monday.

Bardock led the Smokies to a pair of wins on home ice and scored the game-winner in each contest. He started with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over the Nanaimo Clippers where he took 2nd Star. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound defenceman then scored the overtime winner to earn 1st Star in a 3-2 victory over Salmon Arm.
