Wolves Host Free Agent Camp Saturday

Press Release

The Sudbury Wolves will host a FREE AGENT CAMP on Saturday, August 13th
at the McClelland Arena in Copper Cliff. Twenty-five (25) hopefuls
will hit the ice in an effort to impress Wolves' Head Coach Trent Cull.
The highlight of the day-long FREE AGENT camp will be a 'game/scrimmage'
from 4 until 6 p.m. The general public is welcome to attend and
admission is free of charge.

Included among the 25 players are American Ricky Wolfe from Chicago and
goaltenders Landon Noel (Sudbury) and Knick Dawe (Penetanguishene).
There are a number of players attending from southern Ontario as well as
from the North. Players range in age from 17 to 19 years and are
looking to advance to the Wolves' main try-out camp on September 1st.

This is the second consecutive camp of its kind and Wolves' Head Coach
Trent Cull will spear-head the camp once again this year. "This is
something that I did during my time in Guelph and it has been
well-received since we initiated here in Sudbury last year. We had
four players advance from the FREE AGENT CAMP last year to our main camp
including JASON LACROIX who played a number of games for us last season
as an affiliate."

The WOLVES' FREE AGENT CAMP will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday with a
GOALIE SESSION led by Wolves' goaltender coach Scott Murray. All
skaters will take part in an off-ice fitness tests followed by an on-ice
practice session. After a short break, the Camp will conclude with a
scrimmage from 4 - 6 p.m. Players will then participate in
one-on-one meetings with the Wolves' Coaching staff in order to receive
feedback on their performance at the Camp.

The Wolves' are expected to finalize their FREE AGENT invitees by August
20th.
