CCHL announces new Director of Hockey Operations

Kevin Abrams and the CCHL is proud to announce that Richard Sennott has joined the league as the Director of Hockey Operations. A name synonymous with hockey in the Ottawa region, Sennott brings a wealth of experience to the position. Richard has been involved in hockey for 54 years from entry level to junior as a coach, administrator, volunteer, and staff person. For the past 33 years  continues to work with ODHA/HEO as Course Conductor in the Hockey Canada Coaching Certification program. Has served on number of Hockey Canada’s  Development Committees and one of the authors of the Hockey Canada Initiation’s Program and  Novice development manuals,  continues to serve as the HEO’s Initiation Program Director a position I’ve held since 1990. Most notably over the last 20 years, Sennott served as Executive Director of the Ottawa District Hockey Association and retired in July 2012.
