Rob Snoek to Return as Petes' Radio Voice

Press Release

For the past two seasons, Rob Snoek has provided fans with high-quality play-by-play coverage of Peterborough Petes games. My Broadcasting Corporation, the new owner of FM 90.5, announced today that Snoek will return as the Peterborough Petes’ radio voice.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be back for a third season of telling the Petes' story to the great fans in the liftlock city,” said Snoek. “With the new radio station, there was a little bit of uncertainty this summer, but thankfully, with a spirit of teamwork we were able to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together and I couldn't be happier."

My Broadcasting Corporation took over the management of CJMB-FM in May, and will soon launch an all sports and talk radio format on FM 90.5. The station will have a greater focus on community sports, including a large emphasis on Peterborough Petes coverage.

“The Petes are excited that Rob Snoek will be back in the booth this season to continue the tradition of elite radio broadcasts,” said Peterborough Petes GM Mike Oke. “FM 90.5 has already provided fans with great Petes’ content, and we’re all very excited for the season to get underway.”
