YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Phantoms’ preparations for the 2013-14 season, their fifth in the United States Hockey League, officially get underway next week with the opening of training camp Tuesday at the Ice Zone in Boardman. Twenty-seven skaters, including 11 returners, will be in attendance for camp, which begins Tuesday, Aug. 27 and runs through Friday Aug. 30.
“As a staff, we’re extremely excited to get started,” head coach Anthony Noreen said. “A lot has gone into building the team for this upcoming season and we are looking forward to getting started with this group.”
All on-ice sessions throughout the four-day camp will be open to the public.
