Hicks commits to Bulls

Press Release

BELLEVILLE, ON - Belleville Bulls Head Coach and General Manager George Burnett announced Monday that the club has signed 2013 seventh round draft pick Connor Hicks.

A 6 foot 3, 175Ibs. goaltender from Kanata, Hicks is currently playing with the Metcalfe Jets Jr. B club of the EOJHL. He was selected by the Bulls out of the Ottawa Jr. Senators Minor Midget program after recording a 1.63 goals against average a year ago.

"Connor has been seeing regular minutes in Jr. B this season and had an excellent Ontario Under 17 Program Evaluation Camp this past August," said Burnett. "We're pleased that he and his family have committed to our program and we look forward to overseeing his development in the crease moving forward."

Hicks was a member of the OHL Gold Cup Champion Team ODHA alongside fellow Bulls prospect Simon Besner this past May in Kitchener. He'll continue his development this season with the Metcalfe Jets.
