Attack and Ice Dogs Swing Another Deal

Press Release

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have acquired sophomore forward Andrew Fritsch from the Niagara Ice Dogs in exchange for overage forward, Jason Wilson.

Fritsch, a 17 year old from Brantford, ON. was in his second year with the Ice Dogs, having tallied a goal in his first game of the season. In his rookie season, the 6'0, 180lb forward notched 11 goals to go along with 7 assists in 62 games.

"Andrew brings us the talent of the top six forward we've been looking for," stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "We felt very confident moving forward with the three overage players we have and that allowed us to make this deal involving Jason."

Wilson, a 5th round selection of the New York Rangers was returned from Rangers camp late last week and did not dress in the Attack's first two regular season games.

The Attack welcomes Andrew to the organization and wishes Jason the best of luck in his future endeavors.
