COLTS SNAG PADULO FROM GENERALS

Barire Colts Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dale Hawerchuk announced today that the club has acquired forward John Padulo from the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a fifth round draft pick in the 2014 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.

The native of Rochester, New York has spent each of the last two seasons with the Generals, playing in at least 56 games in both seasons. Padulo posted career-highs last season in goals, assists, points and penalty minutes, finishing the season with seven goals, 18 points and 48 penalty minutes.

The 5'9" winger was originally selected by Oshawa in the third round of the 2008 OHL Priority Selection.
