IceDogs Release Four Players

The Niagara IceDogs announced today that they have released four players from their roster.

Forward Matt Baldassarra and defencemen Dominik Crnogorac, Jason Shaw and Nik Knezic were all informed of their release today.

Nik Knezic is currently in negotiations to join the St. Catharines Junior B Falcons.

Baldassarra, Knezic and Shaw all spent time with the IceDogs last season, while Crnogorac was a free agent invitee to training camp this season.

Baldassarra spent all of last season with the IceDogs, scoring two goals and adding three assists to go along with 72 penalty minutes in 59 games.

Meanwhile, Knezic and Shaw both split time with the IceDogs with Knezic playing in 20 games for the IceDogs last season accumulating 9 minutes in penalties before being reassigned to the Jr. A Stratford Cullitons and Shaw playing in 17 games for the IceDogs, accumulating 16 penalty minutes, before being reassigned to the Jr. A Burlington Cougars.

Crnogorac spent all of last season with the Jr. A Mississauga Chargers before his invitation to IceDogs training camp this season.

The IceDogs would like to thank all four players for their efforts and wish them all the best in the future.
