Fronts Acquire Conor Stokes From Oshawa

Press Release

The Kingston Frontenacs picked up 19 year old forward Conor Stokes from the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a selection in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection.

“With the injuries we currently have, this was an opportunity to add some depth and grit to the forward position,” said Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations & General Manager.

Stokes will join the Club in time for tomorrow night’s home opener contest against the Mississauga St.Michael’s Majors. The Lansing, NY native will be entering his fourth OHL season, splitting the first two between the Guelph Storm and the Generals. Last season he had a career best 14 goals and 28 points in 63 games.
