Ice Dogs in search of new head coach/GM

Press Release

DRYDEN, Ont. – The Dryden Ice Dogs Board of Directors has announced that Clint Mylymok has stepped down as the club’s head coach and general manager in order to accept an assistant coaching position, along with other roles, with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

An immediate search for Mylymok’s replacement has already begun with the Ice Dogs actively seeking a replacement, with several names already being considered.

In two seasons behind the Dryden bench Mylymok registered a 72-29-7 record in 108 regular season games while also leading the Ice Dogs to two straight SIJHL Bill Salonen Cup appearances.

He was also the recipient of the league’s coach of the year award in 2009-10 and was a finalist for the same honour this past campaign.

Dryden’s executive board would like to thank Mylymok for his services the past two years and wish him the best in his new role.

For his part Mylymock praised the Ice Dogs and the community of Dryden for great two years working with the organization.

The club hopes to have someone in place in rapid succession, in preparation for the start of the team’s training camp, which is slated to get underway Aug. 27.
