The Surrey Eagles are pleased to announce the commitment of Sean McGovern for the 2011/12 season. The 6 foot 175 pound forward comes to the Eagles from the prestigious Taft Prep School in Watertown, Connecticut. The 1993 born McGovern is currently listed on the 2012 Preseason NHL Central Scouting Watch List as a ‘B’ Prospect. McGovern is a solid two way forward with excellent speed who will bring excitement to the Eagles fans at South Surrey Arena. The Eagles would like to welcome Sean to the Surrey Eagles.
