MHL 2011-12 Schedule Released

The Maritime Junior Hockey League released its schedule for the 2011-12 season on Thursday. The schedule features 52 games for each of the 11 MHL teams again this season. Regular season action will begin on Thursday, September 15th as the Weeks Crushers host the Truro Bearcats in New Glasgow at 7:30pm.

Plenty of action follows on opening weekend. Four games go on Friday night as the Lumberjacks host the Commandos in Bridgewater at 7pm. Yarmouth travels to Metro for their first road game to face the Marauders at 7pm. The Slammers host Miramichi at the Carleton Civic Centre at 7:30pm and the Weeks Crushers are in Campbellton for an 8pm match. Four more games are scheduled for Saturday night, followed by two matches on Sunday to round out the opening weekend.

Exhibition games will be posted as they become confirmed.
