Clark Commits to UNH

Press Release

The Salmon Arm SilverBacks are proud to announce that second year Goaltender Adam Clark is the newest committed player to the University of New Hampshire's Wildcats.

The 6ft 6” native of Sherwood Park, who is known for his athleticism and competitive nature, will follow the foot-steps of former SilverBack's Captain Damon Kipp and join UNH in 2014-2015 following his 20 year old season in the BCHL.

Adam says his soon-to-be home in New Hampshire has him excited, "It's a great program with great hockey. The school is gorgeous and really it's just a great fit for me. Everything came together with this great opportunity."

Clark shared the SilverBack's "Fan Favourite" award in 2011-2012 with Jeff Kennedy after posting five wins; finding his groove in the second half of the season. He says that even though he has a future home, his focus is on the here and now, "It's only a start, right now it's all about the SilverBacks and what we can do to get a winning record."

'Backs GM Troy Mick says Adam's strides towards the NCAA are obvious "His hard work over the summer has paid off and now he gets to continue to improve his skills as a SilverBack before making that big leap into the Wildcats Program."

The SilverBack's are thrilled for Adam, and his family, regarding this outstanding news. The organization is excited to continue to watch him grow as a student and athlete, as he prepares for his future away from Salmon Arm. Congratulations on becoming a Wildcat Adam, a "Fan Favourite" for sure!
