Keith Sullivan Named Lumberjacks Vice President

Press Release

MUSKEGON, Michigan (September 28th) – The Lumberjacks are proud to announce that they have hired former NHL scout Keith Sullivan as the Vice President. Sullivan will oversee all aspects of player acquisition and roster management, as well as assisting in the overall management of the hockey department of the Lumberjacks organization.

“Coming to the Muskegon Lumberjacks is a great opportunity for me,” said Sullivan. “I will do my best to help compliment the things that are already in place, as well as help provide insight to give Muskegon an even better product on and off the ice.”
Sullivan has served as a scout for over 20 years and is making his second appearance in the USHL. Sullivan first started his scouting career for the Sherbrooke Castors of the QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and then moved on to the USHL where he scouted for the Lincoln Stars and Omaha Lancers. During his time with the Lancers, he took on the role of being the head scout for the organization. Sullivan then moved on to the NHL where he spent time with both the Phoenix Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets.
“I am thrilled that Keith was able to join our club. Keith’s depth of experience in the NHL and his past success in the USHL will enable him to make an immediate impact for the Lumberjacks,” Lumberjacks Owner and CEO Josh Mervis said. “Keith joining our team as Vice President adds another NHL veteran who can help develop and shepherd our players to the next level successfully.”
