automated devices. The in game fan experience includes the
instantaneous display of the raffle totals on the facility scoreboard,
televisions and in-house monitors.
Ken Cook, Pointstreak’s Chief Operating Officer
stated, "We are very excited about our partnership with the Western
Hockey League. The vision and leadership demonstrated by Ron Robison
and his team illustrate the progressive nature of the league
membership. Based upon our successes with other leagues and teams we
are confident that 5050 Central platform will be a huge success,
embraced by the teams and more importantly by the fans. This development
is an advancement that will allow member clubs the opportunity to
continue to provide a strong connection with the various causes in their
communities.”
Ron Robison, Commissioner of the Western Hockey
League commented, “The Western Hockey League member clubs have always
been known for funding our education and scholarship program as well as
local charities and minor hockey. We understand the importance and the
role that we collectively play in the development of our communities and
the student athletes that we are responsible for. Other leagues and
teams have taken advantage of this technology to be able to continue to
give back to various charities and worthwhile initiatives in their local
communities. The ability of our member clubs to have access to
revolutionary ways to generate funds to continue having a positive
impact in their communities and with their players was attractive to us.
We are excited about the possibilities that this initiative will
provide.”
