The Maritime Junior Hockey League and Eastlink announce new partnership

Press Release

The MHL and Eastlink announced today a new and exciting partnership for the 2012-2013 hockey season.

“We are passionate about local sports," says Jeff Brown, Regional Manager Eastlink Maritimes. "The opportunity to partner with the MHL as the league's Nova Scotia sponsor reinforces our commitment to this community."

Eastlink and the MHL say this new relationship will help elevate the League in Nova Scotia, now known as the Eastlink Division, and provide important support to its athletes and the teams.

Brown explains that Eastlink has a long history of investing in and showcasing local sports. "We are very involved with a number of local sports teams and leagues across the Maritimes including QMJHL, the Halifax Rainmen, the Eastlink Premiership Soccer League and Atlantic University Sport."

“On behalf of the Maritime Junior Hockey League, I wish to express how very proud and pleased we are to have Eastlink join us as a division sponsor”, said MHL Board of Governors Chairman John Lynn. “Eastlink has firmly established itself as one of the most successful telecommunications companies in Canada. This partnership is a very positive one for our league; being associated with Eastlink’s very strong brand bolsters the MHL’s presence within its member communities and all of the Maritimes”.
