Kulczyk signs with Aberdeen

Press Release

The Aberdeen Wings organization is proud to announce that the team has signed another NAPHL player for the upcoming 2014-2015 season. Signing a tender with the Aberdeen Wings is U18-AAA forward Trent Kulczyk, currently of the Lansing Capitals in the North American Prospects Hockey League.

“Trent is a hard-nosed, gritty player who takes pride in going to the dirty but rewarding areas of the rink. He is strong over the puck and protects it well,” said Aberdeen Wings Associate Head Coach / Director of Player Personnel Francis Anzalone. “We like Trent for who he is and think he has a chance to develop into a solid power forward.”

The 5-11, 175 lbs forward Kulczyk will join fellow teammate Ronnie Hein, who signed with the Wings back on December 19th. So far this season with the NAPHL Lansing Capitals, Kulczyk has tallied 7 goals and 12 assists for 19 points. Lansing is 19-5-0 and 4th in the NAPHL.

“We are pleased that Trent has chosen to join our program. He is a high character Michigan kid and he comes from a solid midget program that develops its players,” said Wings head coach Travis Winter. “We look forward to helping Trent continue on his hockey development path.”

Both Kulczyk and Hein will join the Aberdeen Wings for the 2014-2015 season.
