Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results
of a completion of a review of an incident which occurred in the game
played in Ottawa on the 19th of January, 2014, involving the 67’s and the visiting Peterborough Petes Hockey Club.
The incident reviewed was a check to the head infraction assessed to player Jonatan Tanus of the Peterborough Petes Hockey Club.
Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player
Jonatan Tanus shall be suspended for eight (8) games effective
immediately.
