The Lansing Capitals of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce that 18U forward Jack Brandstetter, 18, has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Minnesota Wilderness. The Wilderness compete in the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
The native of Minnetrista, Minnesota joined the Capitals in January
and played in the team’s five games at the most recent event in Troy.
Brandstetter (6’5/195) made an immediate impact as he recorded six
points in the five games, which included three goals and three assists.
Brandstetter has played in nine games with the Wilderness this
season as an affiliate player. He has recorded two assists in those nine
contests.
Last season, Brandstetter played high school hockey in Minnesota
for Mound-Westonka. During the regular season, he had 39 points in 25
games played.
Brandstetter is the fourth Lansing 18U player to sign an NAHL
tender this season. He joins Ronnie Hein (Aberdeen), Trent Kulczyk
(Aberdeen) and Jacob Gwillim (Johnstown).
