Omaha 16U forward Pulver makes NCAA DI commitment

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 16U forward Matt Pulver has committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey at The Air Force Academy starting in the fall of 2016.
 
Pulver is a native of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and is in his first season with the Omaha AAA Hockey Club. So far this year, the 6'0/190 lbs. Pulver has amassed 16 goals and 47 assists for 63 points in 57 games overall for the Omaha AAA 16U team. 
 
In NAPHL league play the 16-year-old has 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points in 20 games for the Omaha team which went 19-0-1 in the regular season and finished in 1st place winning the 16U regular season crown.  
 
Pulver now becomes the third member of this years 16U team in Omaha to receive an NCAA Division 1 Hockey Scholarship joining Tarek Baker (Minnesota) and August von Ungern-Sternberg (Brown).
 
Beyond the NCAA commitments that Omaha has had, the club as 10 players sign NAHL tenders between the 18U team and the 16U team. The 16U team, who are the defending NAPHL 16U Champions, has a combined 40-1-1 regular season record during the NAPHL regular season the last two years.
 
Air Force is under the direction of head coach Frank Serratore and the Falcons have won five of the last seven Atlantic Hockey Association Tournament Championships.
