Omaha 18U trio sign NAHL tenders

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club of the North American Prospects Hockey League is pleased to announce that three more players from the Omaha 18U team have signed NAHL tender agreements.

Forward Nathan Medeiros has signed an NAHL tender with the Topeka RoadRunners of the South Division. Forward Miles Manson has signed an NAHL Tender with the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL’s Central Division and defenseman Ryan Fretwell has signed an NAHL tender also with the Minot Minotauros.

Medeiros, who is a 17-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, is in his second season with the Omaha AAA organization. He is the team’s leading scorer this season as the 5'10/175lbs forward has amassed 33 goals and 54 assists for 87 points to go along with 16 PIM in 51 games overall. He us currently tied for the NAPHL 18U scoring lead with 37 points in 18 NAPHL games. Last season, Medeiros had eight points in 11 games played with Omaha’s 16U team.

Manson who is from Overland Park, Kansas is in his first season with the Omaha AAA organization. To date this season, the 18-year-old forward has amassed 32 goals and 39 assists for 71 points to go along with 34 PIM in 46 games overall. In NAPHL action, Manson (5’8/160) has 20 points in 18 NAPHL games played to date.

Fretwell is a 6'0/205 lbs. defenseman from Erie, Colorado and is in his second season with the Omaha AAA organization. To date this season, the 18-year-old has amassed 8 goals and 18 assists for 26 points to go along with 30 PIM in 49 games overall. In NAPHL action, Fretwell has 15 points in 23 games played.  Last season, he recorded three points in 12 games for the 18U team.

The trio are the 8th, 9th and 10th players from the Omaha AAA Hockey Club 18U or 16U teams to sign NAHL tender agreements this season.
