Steelers’ Gingera named MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week

Shane Gingera, a member of the high-flying Selkirk Steelers has been named this week’s MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week award ending January 26th.

 Gingera, 20, scored four goals in two games last week for the Steelers, who are currently riding an unbelievable 18-game winning streak. The native of Winnipeg is enjoying a strong season, reflected in 17 goals and 29 points in 45 games for the Addison Division leading Steelers.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Artsiom Kalashnikov of the Virden Oil Capitals and 16 year old forward Tyler Jeanson of the Portage Terriers.
