Press Release
BOSTON, Mass. -- The Eastern Hockey League regular season, which was marked by hundreds competitive games each weekend since September, concluded today in a flurry today as the final nine seeds for the playoffs were decided.
There is no rest for any of the teams, however, as EHL playoff action kicks off Wednesday with the EHL play-in game featuring the Washington Junior Nationals at the New Jersey Titans. The winner of the play-in game earns the rigth to face the EHL regular season champion New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs in a best-of-three series at Tri-Town Arena in Hooksett, N.H. All first round EHL playoff series are best-of-three.
The other seven first-round match-ups are listed below. All three games are at the home rink of the higher seed unless otherwise indicated.
Game dates and times are being finalized tonight and tomorrow and will be added to the EHL Playoff Schedule when confirmed so bookmark that page and check back often. The EHL playoff format can be viewed by clicking here. The EHL playoff brackets can be viewed by clicking here.
